In 2002, Steve and Terri Irwin founded Wildlife Warriors as a way to include and involve the public in the protection of injured, threatened or endangered wildlife. For them, this meant both individual animals as well as entire species. Their mission to create a world where people and wildlife can prosper together has translated to rehabilitation projects throughout Australia, as well as global conservation projects for endangered species.
